Krank’d Up, Cape Town, beards, gherkins, fantasy football and recording sessions!

Hello, friends!

September is a massive month for us as we’ll be touring with one of our current favourite bands, Australia’s Dead Letter Circus. Two shows only, including a show in Cape Town and at Krank’d Up Music Festival in JHB. Both shows will likely be our last for the year as we have an album to work on. Info about these shows and our new album to follow below, so read on…

Ashley at LoudmouthPRE-PRODUCTION FOR OUR NEW ALBUM BEGINS NEXT MONTH
In October and November we’ll be in studio with Ashley Lane at Loudmouth Studios laying down demo recordings of our new tracks. This is the pre-production phase. Once we’ve recorded all our ideas with Ashley we’ll send the demos via the power of the internet to our friend, Mr. Toby Wright in the States. He’ll send us feedback and suggestions before we track the final album. This process continues until the band and Toby are completely happy with the songs, then we’ll bring Toby to South Africa to record the final product. Hard work ahead, but we’re looking forward to it!

Sean ZTALKING BEARDS WITH GARY COOL
Gary has the best ‘Top 10’ lists of the rock ‘n roll kind on his website and when he asked me if I’d be keen to list my top ten rock star beards I just had to say, “Hell yeah, bitch!”. OK… I didn’t say that. I’ve been watching too much Breaking Bad, but I definitely replied with an enthusiastic ‘Yes’. Click here to see who made my list!

MUSE MAGAZINE QUICKFIRE Q and A SESSION
Muse Magazine asked us a few personal questions. Basically, Alvin loves Aston Villa, Sashan thinks the EFF is a joke and I declare my love for ‘My Sharona’. Read the entire interview right here!
